I am new to blogging. I am not very good at it. But, I do aspire to be better at it someday. I am amazed at all the stuff bloggers have on their sites! The ideas, the recipes, the contests!!!! How do you do all this stuff?? For now, I just view and enjoy. But someday, I hope to figure out how to set up an Etsy store, how to get a random number for a drawing!!!! Wow! this stuff just amazes me. So I guess I am truly technologically challenged. Cheers to Jenny and Emily and all the wonderful bloggers you can link to through their blogs!!!! Thanks Moments!!!!
Now on to football. As I previously said, I was concerned because my son is so small(thin really). But I got out there and there are other small 10 yr old boys! Go figure! I am such a dork!!! Of course there are other small boys like my son, they are everywhere! DUH!!!! I was also pleased to see that there weren’t any really HUGE boys that could just pummel my son. I know this is just his team, haven’t seen the boys on the opposing teams yet. That will be another story!
Life in general is really busy for us now. I had a family meeting last night after football practice with my 2 kids. I explained that between volleyball for sis, football for brother and massage therapy classes for mom life is going to be really busy for a few months. Reminded them that everyone needs to chip in at home to keep it neat and tidy and that there will be overlapping games, and so on. I got the “whatever” look. Oh well, can’t say they weren’t warned.
I don’t want to complain too much, but I bought a new computer from Best Buy a couple months ago and I am still having problems keeping an internet connection.
So I use other peoples computers when I can to check my email. And now to write a post.
Things have been hectic for me and I don’t see any relief in site. But one good thing amidst the nuttiness is the massage therapy class I have been taking. I love it! I think I really have a knack for it and look forward to a new career in addition to my big girl job.
And when I am at class, I am relaxed. I have to put everything else aside for a few hours, relax, listen, learn and practice. And normally it isn’t very easy for me to relax, so this class is really a blessing. I am even able to put away the guilt I feel for leaving my kids for 2 nights a week.
And on to football. My baby boy (10 yrs old) starts his first season next week. Not only do I worry about injuries, but the 2 hour practices every night in 100 degree weather!!! YIKES!!! I know it sounds terrible, but I hope he won’t like it. (and I hope he never reads my blog!)
